Female entrepreneurship out of necessity in ecuador


Abstract:

The role of women in the current century is visualized with greater participation in different areas of society; even fulfilling their role as mother. Women looking to improve their quality of life, and in the face of imminent day-to-day situations, are driven to generate income through entrepreneurship. In this sense, the objective of this research was to describe the female entrepreneurship by necessity in Ecuador. The applied methodology has a descriptive approach, thus developing a documentary and bibliographic research that served as the basis for obtaining the findings. The results determine that Ecuador is one of the most entrepreneurial countries in Latin America, leading the rate of entrepreneurship by necessity in the region, also, Ecuadorian women have the support of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, which serves as a boost for the emergence of female enterprises; however, women still have disadvantages compared to men. As a final reflection, it is proposed that there is a positive trend towards the acceptance of social enterprises by necessity in Ecuador.
