Foliar fertilization of bulb onion (Allium cepa l.) With biol: performance evaluation
Abstract:
The goal of this research was to improve the yield of bulb onion (Allium cepa l.), hybrid Cute Pearl View, using a soil base fertilization with 8-20-20 formulation at 50kg/ha, supplemented with foliar applications of Biol 10, 20, 30 and 40% at 60, 75 and 90 days after transplantation using a randomized block design with a bifactorial arrangement (4 x 3 + 1) and four repetitions. The variables assessed were: plant height at 60, 75 and 90 days, and at harvest; and length, diameter and yield of bulbs. Differences between averages were determined by the Tukey test at 5% probability, using correlations and regressions, referenced with an economic study. It was established that the biological effect on performance, although with no statistically significant difference, is greater at low doses and at earlier times of application possibly favored by the bulb-fill phenological stage. Thus, the highest profitability was obtained with Biol …
