Fomento de la lectura con leyendas basadas en las costumbres y tradiciones ecuatorianas
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to encourage reading habits among students and contribute in a practical way to the construction of their knowledge through readings based on Ecuadorian customs and traditions. Based on these foundations, the implementation of a didactic sequence was carried out that was applied in the "Abd?n Calder?n" Educational Institution, in the city of Quito, Calder?n parish. For the presentation of the didactic unit, we worked with the objectives of the curriculum of the Language and Literature area. It was also proposed that students develop reading levels. For the design of the activities we worked with the oral, written and creative competences that were developed sequentially, to expand the communicative ability of the students. Finally, the active techniques, focused on cooperative learning, were applied in the methodology.
