Fuzzy numbers for the improvement of causal knowledge representation in fuzzy cognitive maps

Abstract:

A study was performed on fuzzy numbers for the improvement of casual knowledge representation in fuzzy cognitive maps. The use of linguistic approximation was suggested as an approach that allows to revert the flow of uncertainity-based information, providing a linguistic description of the results. The fuzzy casual algebra was reviewed and the opportunities for applications were outlined.
