Fuzzy surface-based sliding mode control
Abstract:
A new controller based on a combination of Sliding Mode Control and Fuzzy Logic is proposed. The conventional sliding surface is modified using a set of fuzzy rules. This combination confers controller robustness and flexibility. A neutralization process and a mixing process are used to compare the performance of the new controller to that of a conventional sliding mode controller and a PID controller. © 2007.
