Anàlisis de la reproducción asexual y porcentaje de colonizaciòn de Gynoxys verrucosa, perteneciente a la etnobotànica de la etnia Saraguro
Abstract:
The relationship between man and the vegetable surrounding environment is very narrow due to the ability to exploit environmental resources taking advantage of these; the science of this relationship is called ethnobotany. The province of Loja has a large ethnobotanical wealth, example of this is the Saraguro ethnicity that uses more than 105 native species of the site for various treatments, but agriculture is one of the leading practices in the site greatly disadvantaged in the remnants of native forests which can directly be related to loss of habitat for species of ethnobotany of the place, further that most publications do not address reproduction of these species, where apparently the primary purpose is the pursuit of secondary metabolites medical or industrial interest without taking into account the survival of the resource or the environment in which it develops; therefore was evaluated two methods of reproduction of these species Gynoxys verrucosa one in the laboratory using a standard culture medium for micropropagation (George et al., 2008) and another in the greenhouse using a medium containing humus and soil; plating on each of the tips of stems. Also addresses theme root colonization of the species with the method of intersection roots stained (Phillips and Hayman, 1970), this is important because it has been seen that mycorrhizae are symbiotic relationships between root and fungus, wherein both participants benefit.
