GEOGEBRA AS A DIDACTIC STRATEGY TO PROMOTE MEANINGFUL LEARNING IN MATHEMATICS DURING THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS.

Abstract:

With the use of ICTs and the new educational paradigm, a revolution is taking place in the educational system; the student acquires knowledge, skills and abilities. Technology is a strategic imperative today, its use in the teaching-learning process is of vital importance to motivate students to learn and face new challenges, including the accelerated growth of wisdom. The objective established for this research is to systematize the theoreticalmethodological references of the use of GeoGebra as a didactic strategy to promote meaningful learning in Mathematics, from the perspective that GeoGebra is a tool that allows stimulating and developing creativity to recognize, identify and search for new relationships and dependencies between mathematical entities that are the object of study in students at the upper basic level. The level of research is descriptive with a qualitative narrative design approach, for which we will use theoretical and empirical methods. The results show that a didactic strategy is a tool that allows the Mathematics teacher to establish a dynamic teaching-learning process; likewise, it was identified that GeoGebra as computer software helps students in the acquisition of significant learning; considering that, significant learning is one that is put into practice in events of daily life from a previous knowledge. It is concluded that this theoretical-based work is the cornerstone for the contribution of the design of a didactic strategy based on GeoGebra for meaningful learning in the subject of
