Gastronomía ecuatoriana y turismo local.
Abstract:
Gastronomy is a resource that is part of the cultural history of peoples and communities. The development of gastronomic tourism in Ecuador is reflected in the scientific literature, mainly through studies of tourist satisfaction with the tourist product; so there is not enough information that results from the analysis of the gastronomy-tourism interrelation from a broad perspective. In this context, it is necessary to contribute to a vision of gastronomy as part of the diverse local cultural expressions. The interrelation of local tourism and its link with Ecuadorian gastronomy is analyzed.
