Gender Violence in the province of pastaza

Abstract:

Gender violence against women is a problem in our society. In the province of Pastaza, the percentage of women who suffe-red violence exceeds 70%. In the urban areas of Pastaza, victims of violence report more cases than in the rural sector, who remain silent out of fear or because there are no nearby judicial instances. It was diagnosed in a group of women how much they identify the different components of gender violence, for which they ignore this problem. As it was an exploratory study, a sample was selected for convenience, the results of which highlights interference, or invasive actions on the privacy and independence of women.
