Gestión de riesgos ante emergencias de origen natural y antrópico para el instituto tecnológico superior Cordillera del distrito metropolitano de Quito


Abstract:

In chapter I, There is a problem that has been determined where the Post-secondary Technological Cordillera Institute doesn’t have a model of Emergency and Risk procedures that deals with Emergencies. In addition to that there´s reason to vindicate a systematic way dealing with why it should count on an administrative technical tool that will allow the Post-secondary institution to confront possible events that affect the procedures of its daily activities and that could cause material and human losses. In chapter II. Various concepts have been addressed related to the investigation. Having done a procedure linked with the important points developed in the document. In the third chapter it has already begun to do an analysis through a contextual study of the Technological Cordillera Institute that reemphasizes the geographical and special characteristics of the sector where the institution is located, This Being of vital importance for the analysis of risks that has been done in later chapters. In addition a proposal is done of a model of risk management based on the principle ISO 31000-2009, one which bases guidelines for risk management in accordance to processes. In chapter IV an analysis is done with a survey where a number of predetermined students took part, who were surveyed about topics related to the risk management when it came to emergencies and how to act during these emergencies and an analysis was done with the results tabulation. The plan of emergencies is developed in chapter V. Where a technical document is proposed that counts on an analysis of risks using the established method by the national secretariat of the risk management, like a governing body in the matter. This way it is known what they are and what the institution is exposed to. This document will allow the Technological Cordillera Institute to confront possible events and create in a methodical way procedures that will develop and will allow it to prevent, mitigate and resume activities.
