Graph-based knowledge management in cities
Abstract:
The term “Emerging Technologies” has evolved some decades ago, however, at present it continues to be a research topic in various projects within the technological field. Despite this, in the region, this topic is even unknown, therefore, it is not used in the academic or research field. For this reason, the work uses graph theory to evaluate the resistance or vulnerability of urban networks, through mathematical modeling, which is applied in several cities of Ecuador and the city of Panama, as a contrast element. The problem being addressed is the lack of knowledge that exists in these cities to counteract rates of demographic growth, vehicular traffic, traffic jams and mobility. The results obtained are a first indicator for future research related to the urban problem of the cities of the region.
