Grimmia ochyriana (Musci, Grimmiaceae), a new species from Nepalese Himalaya
Abstract:
Grimmia ochyriana is described as new from the Himalayas. It is known from a single collection where it is intermingled with Grimmia fuscolutea (sub G. subdonniana). This new species is distinguished from any other species in the genus by the very long perichaetial leaves, the nearly immersed capsules, and the structure of the costa, 7-8 cells wide in the ventral layer.
