HIV prevalence in the Comprehensive HIV Care Unit of the Ambato General Teaching Hospital

Abstract:

The clinic observed in patients with HIV are very varied and, due to its increase worldwide, it constitutes an important health problem, but timely diagnosis and determination of the severity of the disease contribute to the best response and prognosis of patient. In this study, the general demographic characteristics of the patients who attended the comprehensive HIV care unit of the Ambato General Teaching Hospital from 2019 and 2020 will be identified, and the CD4 values will be correlated with viral load, to determine the conditions real patient health.
