Heart rhythm monitoring system and IoT device for people with heart problems

Abstract:

This paper describes the design and implementation of a prototype of a mobile real time heart rate monitoring system, in order to get a preventive or detective control of the status of a person who had been diagnosed a heart disease. The system combines a mobile wearable device that senses cardiac rhythm and identify the geographical location of a person, then transmits by GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) technology to a web service where a web application stores, interprets, presents the data and notifies an unusual behavior.
