Helmetooth - Device of Increasing Vision and Communication for Motorcyclists


Abstract:

This document presents an accessory prototype capable of modifying a helmet of motorcycle turning it into a smart helmet with the aim of increasing the front field of vision and accessing the rear vision through cameras that project on a lcd screen in real time, as well as establishing a Bluetooth connection system with a mobile device to access its audio, a proximity warning system from some entity less than a meter and a half, the same that will produce an alert and a night warning system that will allow the driver to be seen in a greater perimeter of visibility. This helmet was developed in different scenarios and it can be intuited that it will provide safety advantages for the motorized vehicle and reduce the risks involved in vehicular mobility.
