Hemoglobina y hematócrito en personas de 23-42 años de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador 2009-2010
Abstract:
This investigation looks for to determine haemoglobin and hematocrit in people upon the city of Cuenca between 23-42 years old. The samples were selected in a random way among the residents of 14 urban parishes, to which were applied a survey that picks up filiations data, and personal pathological antecedents and family pathological antecedents. This study in descriptive type was carried out in 1000 samples, of which 64,7% was women and the 35,3 was men; the same samples that were processed in the Clinical Laboratory of the Regional Hospital "Vicente Corral Moscoso" in the city of Cuenca, in the accountant automated hematologic CELL DYN 3700. The average age is 31 years, the size average is 160 cm (5,2493 ft) and the weight average is 63,4 kg, value haemoglobin average is of 14,6 + 0,031g/dl; range referential in women is 13,6 - 15,0g/dl, for men is 15,1 - 17,0g/dl; value average of hematocrit of 44,5 + 0,084%, referential range for women of 44 - 48%, for men of 44 - 48%. The obtained parameters are inside the ranges reported and managed in our means. A relationship exists statistically significant of haemoglobin with the variable sex (P=0,000), age (P=0,003), height (P=0,000), weigh (P=0,000), a proportions exists statistically significant of hematocrit with the variable sex (P=0,000), height (P=0,000), weigh (P=0,000); proportion doesn't exist statistically significant of the hematocrit with the variable: age (P=0,076) The purpose of this investigation is to provide to the health personnel of region and the country, values real chords to our means for a better diagnosis, presage and treatment of the illnesses.
