High speed optical transmission over plastic optical fibers

Abstract:

We will review the best results from recent EU projects (POF-ALL and POF-PLUS) on the use of large core plastic optical fibers (POF) for Gbps transmission over typical home-networking distances (up to 50 meters). © VDE VERLAG GMBH.
