Holocracy: internal transformation for management
Abstract:
Micro, small and medium-sized local businesses operate under the traditional organizational structure, in which the authority of the boss or whoever directs them predominates. The objective of this research is to identify the characteristics, principles and benefits of holocracy, as a management tool and how it influences the performance of the human talent that works in the entities. A quantitative research was developed based on a survey of managers, administrators and heads of local entities. The conclusions indicate that it is necessary to build a business culture when the institutions are newly constituted, which is the basis for the holocratic system to generate positive results; if it is already constituted, it must be strengthened.
