Human capabilities empowerment: The Children's Centers of Good Living in Ecuador

Abstract:

Ecuador has a Constitution that maintains as public policy priority to provide guarantees for the integral development of children until 5 years old. The aim of the article is to analyze the pertinence of strengthening its integral development, based on changes in the benefited children from these children's centers, applying the Capabilities Approach of Sen. It advocates the expansion of capabilities that provide freedom while social development due to the qualitative improvement of users.
