Human rights and concept of dignity in the digital society


Abstract:

Since the Universal Declaration, a normative, institutional, political and cultural system has been built around the protection of human rights, which needs to be proactively answered, lecturing on the basis of such rights and, in particular, on the relevance and validity of the values on which they have been built. The general objective in this research is to analyze the systematic violation of the dignity of the human being in the digital public space, proposing the emergence of a fourth category of human rights in the face of the violent advance of information and communication technologies in the era of the infosphere. It was approached, from a qualitative approach, the application of a set of techniques applied in social networks, web pages, blogs and platforms, observing their connection with the respect or transgression of human rights.
