Hydrogen Sulfide Generation in Thermal Processes of Crude Oil Recovery. I: Oil Characterization.
Abstract:
This study was carried out to determine the causes of hydrogen sulfide generation when thermal methods are used for oil recovery. The main purpose was to characterize, determine, and quantify the distribution of sulfur compounds in the producing sand and in crude oil. Compounds that could contribute to H//2S formation were identified.
