ICT in the Teaching: an Introspective in Salesian University

Abstract:

The article shows the results of an inquiry conducted on the use of ICT as an alternative in the teaching of theoretical subjects in the formation of social communicator held at the Salesian Polytechnical University of Ecuador. It investigates the use of technology in the classroom sessions with emphasis on theoretical subjects where the reflective processes that occur in theory and practical interaction are valued. The advantages warns that this support teaching processes that are based on the same identifying differences between scientific and educational video for better understanding listed. The research is supported from the matrix qualitative exploratory-descriptive. The objective is oriented to know and understand how they can contribute ICT in the teaching-learning process. As part of the findings is evidence that the use of video has grown in different educational levels and revealingly in university education. One result is expressed from the conception that ICTs are very useful but its use goes through the economic factor.
