IDTV Application to Promote the Gait of the Elderly

Abstract:

The introduction of technology in daily life activities has facilitated routines, some of them related to the quality of life of elderly, who are commonly considered as an independent population. The present project aims to develop an interactive application for television with content related to exercises to enhance gait function of elderly. This paper addresses the evaluation of the functional condition through a set of tests, the development of localized exercise routines, the architecture of the interactive application and the planned evaluation.
