Abstract:

The relationship between the doctor and his patient is one of the bases of contemporary medical ethics. Most medical schools teach their students from the outset, even before they begin receiving practical medical instruction, to maintain a professional relationship with their patients, observing their dignity and respecting their privacy. A study was carried out on the importance of the stomatologist - patient relationship and the factors associated with it. It is concluded that the doctor-patient relationship is the most sensitive and humane aspect in the field of Dentistry, it is one of the most complex human relations binomials, requiring a basic competence, communication, given the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary task of The profession of today, which requires the integration of knowledge and duties, where teachers and students are imbricated, as well as teamwork according to the field where it is developed.
