IT and Telecommunications Equipment Waste Management Model (REIT) through Process Mining.

Abstract:

Context: The increase in waste from computer and telecommunications equipment (REIT) is exponential worldwide. The inadequate management of these wastes generates impacts on human health and the environment. Objective: To design a REIT management model for higher education institutions in developing countries using models generated by Process Mining (MP) in Informatics. Method: We carry out a Systematic Mapping of Literature (MSL) on the application of PM in the field of Informatics. Results: We designed a REIT management model based on the models generated by the MP in Informatics. Conclusions: The identified studies do not focus on REIT management through PM; however, the models found in the MSL allowed us to generate the model in question.
