Identificación y evaluación de los factores de riesgo mecánico en la construcción de tanque de almacenamiento en "Proyecto Gas Licuado De Petróleo en Monteverde - Santa Elena".


Abstract:

The objective of this research was the identification, assessment and evaluation of mechanical risks of an alloyed steel tank used for diesel storage at the construction site of the GLP-Ecuador Consortium. The methodologies used for the initial investigation were field research and descriptive; and the methods used to detect the occupational risk factors at the job site were William Fine and ISHIKAWA methods. The process of this investigation started with the description of the current situation at the company, the collection of information of the types of risks, factors, agents, and consequences to evaluate the risks at work. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the occupational risks that generated greater impact at work were the mechanicals. Thus, it was established strategies for preventive measures to increase productivity and work efficiency by the operations department staff. At the end of the investigation, several proposals were developed to improve the working conditions of the employees on health and safety. In addition, it was developed an estímate of the costs to carry out the proposed improvements.
