Image processing system and its influence on residential energy consumption management


Abstract:

Electricity has become an indispensable resource for the development of humanity for all the benefits it offers both industria-lly, commercially and residentially. The present research focuses on performing an image processing system applied to a Raspberry Pi 3B + that influences the management and control of residential energy consumption. First, a general descrip-tion is made and a literature review related to the topic is carried out that helps in the stages of development. The system de-veloped consists of an electrical control circuit that is responsible for detecting and managing the consumption of electrical energy in residences. Then the implementation of the complete system in residences with regulated environments is carried out. Finally, system tests are carried out in controlled and uncontrolled environments to obtain results and in turn determine if the project meets the objectives set.
