Impact of alternative agricultural production on banana SMEs with an agro-ecological approach

Abstract:

Banana is one of the main products of Ecuador, its production is concentrated in the province of Gold in which there are about 4,000 producers, most are small producers who produce 43.30% metric tons of the product per year. The fundamental objective of the study is to evaluate the impact of alternative agricultural production on banana SMEs with an agroecological approach, for which a study of theoretical references was developed in terms of soil characteristics improvement, rational use of water and diversification of agricultural crops., through an agro-ecological approach, to replace bad practices.
