Impacto acústico en el interior de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí

Abstract:

The noise directly affects the quality of life of people, mainly in areas of high population density, where the traffic is increasing. The pollution generated by this traffic involves studies to safeguard the integrity of persons. Manabí Technical University (UTM) features little research regarding environmental problems generated by acoustic pressure, which establishes the need for a study on environmental pollution caused by noise within the institution, so that can be justified the realization of projects aimed at reducing this problem. In the paper, the results of an environmental impact associated with noise into the UTM, which includes the results of the surveys and acoustic measurements made with the meter, leading to a definite view on this issue and shows Risks for health personnel working in the institution.
