5G and the Internet of Things: Systematic Review

Abstract:

In the 21st century, the structure, and guidelines in different countries, such as the use of artificial intelligence, applications, parameters, and components related to 5G technology and the Internet of Things, allows us to establish as a study proposal a review of the literature on these technologies. For which a methodology was developed based on the collection of data obtained through the following research questions: Q1: ¿How many studies refer to 5G technology? Q2: How many studies refer to the Internet of Things?, and Q3: Is there a contribution of 5G technology towards the Internet of things? An exhaustive search was developed on the subject. The results obtained from the analysis carried out allow us to determine the efficiency and reliability of 5G with the IoT. It is concluded that the IoT added to the 5G, provides greater stability and reliability for data transmission.
