Impeachment, its reforms in ecuadorian constitutional law

Abstract:

The impeachment is a political figure that is very present in the unstable Latin American democracies, the present investiga-tion has as justification the political situation that the American continent is going through, particularly Ecuador, the present work has as purpose to analyze the impeachment as a mechanism in contemporary politics, it is important, since the constitutional reforms that have been given within the legislation of Ecuador will be reviewed. Likewise, we will refer to comparative legislation on the subject, highlighting the multiple edges that occur in the accusation within the impeachment, concluding that the monopoly of it lies with the legislature, so we employ qualitative research using the historical method to see the evolution of impeachment.
