Implementación de un plan estratégico de comunicación, un programa de educación ambiental y un evento de participación ciudadana enfocado en el reciclaje para contribuir a la visibilización del reciclador como agente del cambio en los barrios del sector norte de la ciudad de Guayaquil e incentivar la separación en la fuente en los hogares guayaquileños: planificación y desarrollo del plan de medios para promoción del evento reciclarte, con el fin de incentivar la separación de residuos en la fuente y visibilizar la importancia del reciclador de base en la comunidad y el proyecto recicladores con rostro en la ciudad de Guayaquil

Abstract:

The following research systematizes the outcomes from the experience during the implementation of a 360 environmental education and awareness campaign for waste separation at the source and the visibility of the recycler as an agent of change that adds value to the community; the search for allies for the coordination of collection points, and the conceptualizing, designing, planning and execution of the RECICLARTE event in collaboration with the M.I. Municipality of Guayaquil and Redes con Rostro Foundation. The goal of this project is to educate and create awareness about the responsible management of waste and correct separation at source, in addition to that, making the recyclers visible and bonding them with the community. For environmental education, a program of talks in schools and neighborhoods is described, promoting the articulation as collection points and the creation of social media content for awareness, regarding the importance of recycling and the visibility and valorization of the role of the baseline recycler in neighborhoods. The Reciclarte event took place in Plaza Guayarte and was developed with the participation of citizens, public institutions, private companies and entrepreneurs. The design of the space included 6 stations for multiple activities related to environmental education, entrepreneurial stands, musical shows, an Eco theater and artistic exhibition of pieces made with recycled materials. At last, results, conclusions and recommendations are handed, all briefly gathered including systematization and experiences from this project.
