Abstract:

Estuches Plásticos CEMIRA enterprise, dedicated to develop and production of all kinds of plastic boxes and acetate cases, seeks to improve its production and offer a better quality of the final product to its customers. The acetate boxes, which are produced from the modification of the raw material from the cutting of sheets to the manual gluing of the same, represent a rather long and systematic process. Due to the increase in demand, there is a clear need to increase production without sacrificing the quality of the final product, this is why it is proposed to implement a prototype machine that performs the first of the production processes and one of the most time they require, as is the unwinding and cut of acetate rolls. In this titling work, a prototype machine for the unwinding and cutting of plastic rolls is implemented, which will serve the company and the workers to speed up the work and increase production, as well as requiring a smaller number of workers to carry out the work. same activity at the same time without any need. A machine with a reprogrammable controller is implemented and, through an operator panel, it allows the entry of data such as the amount of cut and the respective size, and in this way control the respective actuators that develop this work. A machine with a Xinje Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is implemented and an OP-320 operator screen is used to enter data such as the amount of cut and the respective size to control a stepper motor that uncoils the pre-assembled roll and, through two pneumatic cylinders, the pressing of the already unrolled sheet is executed which, by means of a blade coupled to a rodless cylinder, makes the cut on the transverse axis.
