Análisis de aptitud para expansión urbana de la ciudad de Zamora

Abstract:

This project is based on the spatial identification of areas suitable for future urbanization in a sector exposed to natural phenomena such as landslides and the flood plain, like the Zamora city. To identify these natural phenomena, the following methodology is established: landslides susceptibility assesment, will be determined by the heuristic method, with the cartographic representation of the natural or intrinsic factors that make slopes susceptible to these gravitational movements; the hazard flooding plain is determined by river hydraulics to establish the behavior of the river Zamora, compared to an instantaneous maximum return flow of 20 years, given the environmental and topographic conditions of the area. The areas suitable for urbanization are areas that are not exposed to these natural phenomena or their degree of exposure is minimal; these areas suitable for urbanization will be soil sampling and subsequent laboratory analysis, to determine their physical-mechanical properties, quantifying their constructive properties.
