Implementation of a didactic intervention dynamics for the optimization of the academic writing process in higher education
Abstract:
A didactic intervention program is implemented, focused on an elective course to update academic writing with the aim of promoting the improvement of this figure in higher education students. It was used a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The sample was constituted by 30 students enrolled in the course and integrated into the experimental group and 30 randomly assigned among the students who attended the V semester in the control group. Before and after administering the program, 2 assessment instruments were applied to measure the dependent variables writing of the curriculum; writing process; frequency and type of feedback; academic genres; mastery of academic writing skills; conceptions and beliefs of academic writing; study skills, support for writing; author-writing link and difficulty of writing.
