Implementation of a multipoint virtual goniometer (MVG) trough kinect-2 for evaluation of the upper limbs
Abstract:
It is presented a multipoint virtual goniometer developed through a Kinect 2 sensor, it can detect in real time the angle of the upper limb joints, therefore helping physiatrists to determine the human body movement, the system was compared with a conventional goniometer which presents a standard deviation of 2.38, therefore shows that the instrument is reliable to be used in a physical evaluation.
