Implementation of an E-Government plan in the peruvian public sector: a case study
Abstract:
Like most companies since late 20th, the government institutions have made use of information technology (IT) as a support to their core business processes. Many have embarked on programs to provide value to the citizens through the use of IT, allowing bringing services that these institutions provide. In this context, that one of the main tools for achieving the digital approach to the city: electronic government (egovernment). E-government can be understood as the digital interaction between the government and its various branches, central and local governments, and citizens. By implementing e-government, Central Government redefines how can interact with the community, closer to citizens and providing services that give them value through the extensive use of IT.
