Implementation of an algorithm for tracking the maximum power point of a solar panel by a predictive control system based in model


Abstract:

The present investigation proposes a mathematical model of a solar panel, based on a Predictive Control by Model that will allow to use information with a prediction horizon, to advance the possible actions to be taken and ensure that the solar panel delivers during its operation, the highest potential. The alternative discussed in this document is presented with examples and comparisons so that in this way the reader has the ability to choose the most optimal type of control for their functionalities and features.
