Implementation of the management of science and technology development through the Portal Holguín

Abstract:

This article describes the work carried out by the Web Portal Holguín Project as an integrating element in science management and the result of developing new information and communication technologies (ICTs). The need of socializing the results of the work in the final months of 2005, 2006 and 2007 is addressed. The main results of the diagnoses made are shared, they are divided into three stages that comprise the complete development of the work throughout six stages. The sites created to update and complete information architecture are described, the latest designs being more detailed, and the main results are grouped. Outputs and results are supported under the epistemological approach of knowledge management and interdisciplinary elements of information sciences.
