Importance of agriculture in a dollarized economy

Abstract:

The importance of the agricultural sector in the liquidity of a dollarized economy was analyzed. This analysis was developed through the application of an autoregressive vector model, which allowed obtaining as results that the agricultural sector is important to explain the dynamism of the liquidity of a dollarized economy. The subsectors that had the greatest influence on the rate variabilities are net exports of cocoa and derivatives, edible fruits, vegetables and live plants and plants.
