Abstract:

It is not a mystery that the process of selection, acquisition and implementation of a CASE tool-Computer Aided Software Engineering-is a complex process in an organization; basically because it is necessary to take into account not only the technical aspects from the tool but the organizational aspects from the company that is to also adopt it, since the impact of a tool it is not only the product of the properties it has, but of the characteristics of the project of development of Information Systems (IS) and of the characteristics of the organization who adopts it.
