Inadequate use of plastic products in the environment, Quevedo-Ecuador year 2017

Abstract:

In Ecuador, flora and fauna have been compromised, especially in the Galapagos Islands, where the death and displacement of marine animal species has been caused, affecting marine biodiversity and the economy. The objective of the research was to determine the environmental impact due to the inadequate use of plastic. The sample was of 383 respondents. It was concluded that the population daily consumes between one to two products with plastic material and it has to be worked with the culture of the population.
