Incidencia de cefalea post punción dural y factores de riesgo asociados en pacientes sometidos a apendicectomía en el Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso. 2017

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: The cephalea after dural puncture is a complication of the spinal anesthesia, due to loss of cerebrospinal fluid caused by dural puncture that leads to decreased intracranial pressure. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Determining the incidence of cephalea after dural puncture and risk factors correlated in patients were submitted to appendectomy in the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso in the year 2017. METHOD AND MATERIALS: It came true an analytic study and side road. Aleatory probability sampling, with patients from 15 to 65 years hospitalized in the area of surgery right after an appendectomy with dural anesthesia. For the obtaining of the data a fill-out form was used and he processed with SPSS. They calculated frequencies and percentages, as well as measures of central tendency and dispersion for the age. In order to evaluate risk factors and your relation used the Odds itself ratio and the estadígrafo Chi-Square. RESULTS: The patients of the masculine sex predominated from 20 to 29 years. The frequency of CPPD belonged to 44.2 %. The most employed treatment was the measured Dietary Hygienic in more than 56% of the cases, 40% were treated with Pharmacological Measures. In no case were there changes of anesthetic technique and the needle used was always # 25. The patch was not used as treatment because the headaches were not as intense. FINDINGS: The percentages of CPPD are tall and risk factors show that there is a bigger probability of suffering CPPD if there are antecedent as much of CPPD as of migraine.
