Análisis de contenido de la sección política del diario El Telégrafo de la segunda vuelta electoral 2017.

Abstract:

The present research work is an analysis of political content on news production will be carried out in the campaign of the second round of elections in Ecuador in 2017, This was an important year for the country's political situation due to the fact that, during the first round of the elections was a tie between candidates Lenin Moreno as President and Jorge Glas with Vice President for the pro-government movement (Alianza País) and candidates Guillermo Lasso as President and Andrés Páez as Vice President of the opposition movement (CREO). This analysis of content will be made to the publications of El Telégrafo daily written media because it is a public medium. It will also analyze how the publications (analysis column) of the political section were treated from March 8 to March 30 of 2017, without counting on Sundays and on days: 9 and 27 of the same month of the newspaper El Telégrafo. A process of content analysis will be developed so that the research can be carried out until an academic article of reflection on the actual content of the news in the newspaper El Telégrafo is obtained. From this it is necessary to understand what was the true meaning that was had regarding the structuring of content since it was shown that the newspaper assumed a remarkable inclination toward the ruling party and a considerable disapproval towards the opposition candidates. Although it is true, in 2007 the newspaper El Telégrafo was confiscated and be called a public newspaper for the use of and for citizenship in the Republic of Ecuador.
