Análisis de costos de producción del cultivar arroz en el sitio la Cuca provincia de El Oro

Abstract:

In May 2010 a study was initiated to analyze the production costs of growing rice in the site La Cuca, province El Oro, belonging to the County Arenillas, in this study were formulated the following objectives: 1. Analyze the costs of rice production on the site La Cuca belonging to the Province El Oro, and 2. Determining the costs of labor, materials and supplies and other costs of production in the whole process of growing rice. These goals are accomplished through the method of the surveys were conducted to owners, stewards or managers from rice fields, the results of these surveys yielded an average cost of each activity and the total; with this numbers it was determined that other production costs has 54% of the overall total, followed by supplies and labor, this prove us that this item is causing the greatest economic impact to the indirect costs, that habitually are not taken into account by producers. It was also concluded that a large percentage of the rice cultivators does not keep any record of their costs or expenses of the crop cycle, these disorganization signify that all these cultivators ignore the real profit margin, is very important to determine the cost of production in comparison with the price received by the producer, to enhance the profit margins because of this profit depends the permanence of the rice farmers in their activity.
