Incidencia del contexto social en la motivación lectora de los estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato, en la asignatura de lengua y literatura. Estudio realizado en la Unidad Educativa Puyango, de la ciudad de Alamor en el año 2017-2018

Abstract:

To achieve the National Degree Project of Spanish Literature, which topic is “Incidence of the social context in the reading motivation of first year high school students, in the subject of Language and Literature, carried out in the Educational Unit Puyango de the city of Alamor, I made a testto 42 first year students of baccalaureate of Language and Literature. The research was carried out with the aim of knowing how the context in which the young people work, acts positively or negatively in the acquisition of reading habits. The instrument applied to students is a questionnaire, the same that was formulated personally based on the main aspects under investigation such as: the incidence of the family, the group of friends, the school and society in general in the acquisition of reading habits in young people. With the results obtained it was possible to determine that there is a low reading level in the students, due to the lack of motivation they receive from their peers and teachers in the establishment, as well as the unconcern that they perceive in the family and other socializing agents referring to this rewarding activity. In this situation, I propose an activity, which will not only improve the student’s atmosphere as well as the whole school’s quality.
