Incidencia del servicio del agua potable en la calidad social-ambiental de la parroquia Ricaurte, cantón Chone 2016-2017

Abstract:

The research was carried out in the Ricaurte parish of Chone canton with the objective of determining the incidence of potable water service in the social - environmental quality of the parish of Ricaurte, Canton Chone 2016 - 2017. Establishing objectives and processes to fulfill and seek a solution to the problems present in the water treatment plant. The current situation regarding the supply of drinking water of the parish Ricaurte was made through surveys, and interviews to know the current state of the operation of the plant. The chemical physical quality of the water was established, for which a sampling was carried out in the tributary, effluent and in the nineteen houses of the distribution network of the physical - chemical parameters. The physical chemical parameters analyzed are within the permissible ranges except for those microbiological that exceed the standards. The service provided by the Ricaurte Parish water treatment plant after analyzing and comparing with the INEN 1108: 2006 standards, gave a percentage result of (22.44%) converting a low socio-environmental quality alternatives were proposed to improve the service Of drinking water from the Ricaurte parish. By directing the elaboration of proposals that establish environmental measures with alternatives to improve the service, corroborating the environmental quality and qualitative or quantitative characteristics inherent to the environment in general or particular environment, and its relation with the relative capacity of this one to satisfy the needs of the Inhabitants and ecosystems, that allow to define some aspects of the environmental reality of the parish Ricaurte.
