Incidencia y morbimortalidad por ingesta de paraquat (órganos fosforados) en el Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús del año 2018-2019

Abstract:

The following research work carried out at the Hospital Sagrado Corazón De Jesús de Quevedo aims to establish the incidence and morbidity and mortality in patients who 1 1 "Paraquat", diagnosed in the emergency, studying the degree of severity, which causes depending on the dose of administration, in the period 2018-2019. By establishing the incidence and morbidity and mortality of Paraquat poisoning, we will reduce the complications of this poisoning, giving adequate and immediate treatment, in order to protect the patient's life and reduce complications and deaths. Since it continues to be a major health problem in Ecuador, and is responsible for the highest number of deaths from poisoning. This study was observational and quantitative, in which medical records of 200 patients who were admitted with a diagnosis of Paraquat Pesticide poisoning were treated and taken, taking into account the data on the amount of administration to know the degree of severity that it caused in each of the patients.
