Inclusive education in ecuador as seen from the organic law of intercultural education


Abstract:

This article intends to carry out a legal and critical analysis of inclusive education in Ecuador as seen from the Organic Law of Intercultural Education, being the Ecuadorian State according to the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador a guarantor of the right to inclusive education and where the Organic Law of Intercultural Education, raises it as one of its fundamental principles. The methodology is framed under an interpretative paradigm, qualitative approach with analytical cut and where the legal hermeneutics has been highlighted. It is concluded that, in Ecuador, in recent years, the need for inclusive education has been recognized from the current regulations and that the challenge is focused on the diversity of its population and on finding the way to really achieve this inclusive and quality education.
