Incorporation of good practices in the development and deployment of applications through alignment of ITIL and devops

Abstract:

The areas of information technology and communications are often pressured by the organization to continuously deploy applications that meet corporate objectives. Application development is part of the driving force behind corporate strategies, whose main rationale is frequent deployment and application updates. The idea is to get a key component of IT services, which is to increase user productivity. The automation of tasks can be promoted by any traditional or agile methodology and supported by the conception of DevOps that represents the collaborative framework between developers and operators. This gear helps to achieve the most desired and complex goals. Software development lifecycle management through the DevOps structure, where each of its components is identified, helps to clearly visualize where the user's requirements are addressed and what elements are needed for optimal development of applications. The alignment of ITIL services in each of the software development phases with DevOps will give maturity to each stage of development. This paper presents the incorporation of good practices in the development and deployment of applications through the alignment of ITIL services with one of the components of the lifecycle with DevOps, in order to obtain software according to corporate objectives and user requirements.
